Kastenwagen
German class of motorhome built inside a panel-van shell (e.g. Sprinter, Crafter, Ducato).

Because the shell is unchanged, the class inherits the base vehicle's dimensions, access and parking envelope — which is precisely why it is chosen over coachbuilt formats for daily use.
The consequence is a fixed internal volume: layout gains have to come from how the space is organised, not from adding to it. Class-level figures are not broken out by the reference cited here.
